  Having heard a good report about the bakery in Katanning nd as my husband and I were passing through we stopped to get some lunch. I had a curry pie, though it tasted quite nice there was literally only two pieces of meat in the whole pie, it was full of a jelly mix. My husband had a pepper steak pie which he said again the taste was ok, but only three pieces of meat and the rest jelly. You should be selling jelly pies not meat pies. He also had a sausage roll which he said was weird tasting and certainly not like a normal sausage roll. I had a vanilla slice which would be the worst vanilla slice I’ve ever had and it went in the bin after the second mouthful. I have had many,many vanilla slices in all of my 67yrs so know what I’m talking about. The pastry on the bottom was barely cooked, the custard horrible, seemed to be made with water and had no flavour. The icing had minimal flavour. Needless to say I will not be recommending your bakery to family, friends or fellow caravanners.
